Corporate Giving
Gifts from businesses and corporate partners are critical to the Library’s success in advancing the workforce through the power of literacy.
Your investment produces valuable results.
Providence Public Library operates as a public / private partnership. The investment of business leaders supports nationally recognized programs and services in each of our 10 neighborhood branches. Your gift will help to ensure the skilled, educated workforce upon which a strong Rhode Island economy depends.

Corporate Leadership Circle
Providence Public Library has proudly launched the Corporate Leadership Circle to recognize annual gifts of $500 or more from corporate and business partners.
By supporting the Library's nationally recognized programs and services, our Corporate Leadership Circle members are helping the current and future workforce to develop critical literacy and technology skills - contributing to a strong Rhode Island economy.
Recently, our Circle co-sponsored a Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce Business Over Easy Breakfast featuring Laurie Puhn, Harvard Graduate and author of Instant Persuasion: How to Change Your Words and Your Life. The Library continues to reinforce the impact of our corporate partners' investments in advancing the workforce through the power of literacy.
Thank you to our Corporate Leadership Circle members!

Funding a program or project
The specific philanthropic priorities of your company can be aligned with the needs of over sixty programs and services and a broad range of patrons served or capital projects like the upcoming renovation and improvement of Knight Memorial Library. We can work with you to ensure that your gift will have an impact in an area that fits with your charitable giving priorities.
Gifts may be directed to specific programs or projects. We also welcome the opportunity to discuss giving levels for naming or sponsoring a program with a major gift as these corporations have done.
For more information on funding a program or project, contact Nancy Ponte, Development Manager at (401) 455-8003 or nponte@provlib.org.
