This is an opportunity to make connections with Latino, minority and mainstream business owners and executives and non-profit professionals as well as to find out what other successful business people have done. Maria Goncalves, an attorney with the law firm of Miller and Caine, LLP and a Providence Public Library Trustee, will be the special guest, and will briefly speak about what has led to her success. There is a speed networking segment as well as an opportunity to practice Spanish language skills and enjoy Latino music and food. A portion of the proceeds will benefit RIFLI's free English as a Second Language and Citizenship classes at the public libraries.
Cost: $15/$20 at door. Adult education students $7.
