1:30-2:30 pm: Barnard Room, 3rd Floor: Irish Music & Storytelling: Family Concert
Celebrating Ireland is a free, lively, educational family music and storytelling performance right before St. Patrick's Day. It will feature fiddler, vocalist, harpist ,and leprechaun Mary King, storyteller Marilyn Murphy Meardon, Irish playwright Tom McGuire on tin whistle and bodran, and Phil Edmonds on tin whistle and button accordion.

2:30-3:30pm: Barnard Room, 3rd floor: The Irish Ballad: A Lecture & Open Reading
Special Collections Librarian Rick Ring will talk about PPL’s magnificent Irish Collection, focusing on Irish ballads and their historical significance. The audience is encouraged to bring their favorite Irish ballad to read or sing aloud at the conclusion of the program.
