All matinees take place on Sunday afternoons at 1:30 pm OR 2:00 pm in our Auditorium Theater, which seats 300 and has a built-in screen and stereo sound. The library is accessible to individuals with disabilities. Please call our Facilities department in advance (M-F) for accommodation: (401) 455-8141. Note: Parents/guardians should determine which movies are age-appropriate for their children. If the movie is in question, previewing is suggested.

Memorable support is given by Clifton Webb as a sardonic columnist and Vincent Price as Tierney's callous playboy fiance. Potent and brooding film noir, Humphrey Bogart plays a short-fused screenwriter, exonerated in the murder of a hat-check girl through the alibi of neighbor, Gloria Grahame. But as the romance between Bogart and Grahame grows, doubts as to his innocence begin to arise.
