Through her experiences with Daniel, a Hebrew slave, Ammena, the daughter of Pharaoh's chief magician, finds out who she is meant to be; not only as a woman and a wife, but also as a warrior. In a prophecy given to her by Moses, Ammena is shocked to discover that the fight between good and evil, which begins with her, will continue on through her descendants. To understand their stories, you must first understand hers.

Based on the Bible Chapter Exodus, this novel is narrated by a high-born Egyptian woman who began her life as a sorcerer’s daughter and ends it as a servant of God who is given three life-changing messages. Delivered through the divine touches of A Shepherd’s Rod.
