As a public service, Providence Public Library invites Rhode Island non-profit organizations to post their programs/events of statewide interest on our Calendar of Events. This 90-minute walking tour celebrates the history of African Americans who lived on College Hill from 1701 to the present. Ray Rickman, a well known community leader, will lead a lively discussion centered on the people and historic buildings of Providence’s oldest neighborhood.
