Do you think you know the Doctor in all his faces and times? Could you fill out River’s journal without worrying about spoilers? Can you recite all the actors’ names who have portrayed the most famous Time Lord (excluding Peter Cushing, since he wasn’t a Time Lord)?

Join us on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 2:00pm for the Library’s first-ever Doctor Who trivia event! Host Taylor McNeilly will challenge your knowledge of both New Who and Classic Who facts and figures, with questions ranging from utter simplicity (what does TARDIS stand for?) to diabolically erudite (how many incarnations of the Doctor have there really been?), so be sure to bring all your Doctor knowledge. Questions will focus on the television series (and the film for the Eighth Doctor).

Prizes will be awarded!

Taylor McNeilly is a 26-year-old graduate student in Simmons College’s history/archives dual degree program, graduating in May with two master’s degrees and (more importantly) a reputation for Doctor Who fanaticism. His favorite Doctors are One and Eleven (go ahead and ask him why, if you have a spare few hours). In his spare time he reads about the Doctor, volunteers at the library’s Rhode Island Collection searching for the Doctor in historical material, and watches Doctor Who with daydreams of the TARDIS taking him away. Next stop: everywhere!
