What If? Speculative Short Stories

What if time travel were possible?  What if you could hire a company to dispose of
any and all pests, including human ones?  What if very intelligent children were raised in a closed, controlled environment designed to enhance their native abilities?  Using both contemporary and classic short stories, Dr. Joan Glazer, Professor Emerita from Rhode Island College, will lead the discussion of this speculative fiction.

Copies of the stories will be emailed before each session.

Last in a three-session series:  join us for all three!

PORTALS is made possible through major funding support from the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities, as independent state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. The Council seeds, supports, and strengthens public history, cultural heritage, civic education, and community engagement by and for all Rhode Islanders.
