Providence Public Library

Teen/Young Adult Room (Ground Floor)
Providence Public Library is pleased to announce that it will host a Passport Day at the Library. U.S. citizens planning international travel may apply for their passports at the Library.
We’re inviting the employees, clients and customers of Providence businesses to take advantage of this convenient opportunity to apply for a passport as the holiday travel season approaches. Passport agents will be in the library to process applications for individuals and families, and answer any questions about the passport process. They will also be able to take passport photos for a fee of $10.
Applicants need to bring proof of citizenship, a valid photo ID, and a personal check or money order. Detailed information on the documents required can be found at http://pawtucketlibrary.org/passport-acceptance-office.htm. The Department of State’s website also offers complete information about the passport application process: www.travel.state.gov.
The cost of the passport is the same as at the post office, however, proceeds will benefit the Rhode Island Family Literacy Initiative’s adult literacy classes.
