The Lost City of Cecil B. DeMille

Peter Brosnan 2015

89 Minutes

In 1923 Cecile B. DeMille made his first version of The Ten Commandments, building a huge City of the Pharaoh set in the California desert.  When the film was completed, the set mysteriously  vanished.   Thirty years ago, Peter Brosnan heard this story and decided to hunt for the lost set. This film tells the story of two visionaries, C.B. DeMille and Peter Brosnan.  Part detective story, part 'Raiders of the Lost Ark', and part 'Mr. Smith Goes to Washington' Peter Brosnan navigated  the treacherous waters of archaeology, county politics, disappearing cinema history and angry Native Americans. What he found in the California desert will blow your mind.
