Teen POWer Program

Teen POWer Blog

The Providence Public Library designed the Teen POWer program to provide a safe place in the critical after school hours for neighborhood children. The program also helps to address the library's need for help in managing their very busy computer labs as well as the increasing need for reading mentors in the Creating Readers Program. The program runs from September through June, and consists of two components, e.teens and READ Teens. The e.teens manage the computer labs in the branches and the Read Teens act as book buddies to school aged children.
