TEENS: Sign Up Now for PPL’s Fall Teen Squad Program Beginning September 28

Teens invited to explore Downcity’s past & present and gain hands-on production skills

Providence Public Library (PPL) welcomes teens in grades 7 through 12 to sign up for its fall Teen Squad program to begin Monday, September 28.  It will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays, September 28 through November 18, from 4:00 - 5:30 pm at the Library (150 Empire Street, Providence).  This multi-faceted learning program, entitled “Downcity: Then & Now” will allow teens to explore Providence Downcity’s past and present and learn how to docum

FREE Electronic Recycling Drop-Off Event at Providence Public Library Wednesday, September 9

Providence Public Library will hold a free electronic recycling drop-off event in collaboration with Indie Cycle, LLC at the Library (150 Empire Street, Providence) from 3 – 6 pm on Wednesday, September 9.  Items may be brought to Library’s back lot during drop-off times (corner or Greene and Fountain Streets).
