Lewis Carroll & Magic with Magician Christopher Morgan at PPL - Sunday, March 16

In a special pre-event program leading up to Providence Public Library’s 2014 gala WONDERLAND: Through the Looking Glass on Friday, April 11, the Library and program sponsor The Providence Journal present “Lewis Carroll & Magic” with magician Christopher Morgan. This program is free and open to the public.

The program will take place on Sunday, March 16 from 2:00 to 3:30 pm in the Library’s Meeting Room (3rd Floor), 150 Empire Street, Providence.  Chris Morgan is a Boston-based magician, computer scientist, author, and member of the Lewis Carroll Society of North America. He will discuss Lewis Carroll’s lifelong interest in puzzles and magic, and will demonstrate some of Carroll’s favorite magic tricks, including some that are hinted at in the Alice in Wonderland books. He’ll also perform more recent tricks inspired by Carroll’s books. Chris is currently writing a book about Lewis Carroll's games and puzzles.
