Be Mindful at the Library presents: Laughter Meditation
led by Chris Belanger
Our mindfulness series is back by popular demand in 2011 and will include a number of classes, workshops, and lectures that will help you empower your mind and body to improve your health.

Create unity, healing energy and joy with a chuckle. Be prepared for a hilariously uplifting experience. Mindfulness, deep breathing, seated guided Laughter and a Loving Kindness offering join forces to heal the body, clear the mind, soothe the soul and electrify your life. We’ll begin with a brief history of Laughter for wellness and let you know why the old phrase “Laughter is the best medicine.” rings true on many levels. No meditation experience needed – simply come with an openess to fun and feeling great!
Chris Belanger is a Kripalu Yoga Teacher, Laughter Yoga Leader, Yoga Nidra Guide and Chair Yoga Teacher. Chris shares the calming, energizing and healing powers of yoga and laughter at prominent yoga studios, wellness centers, events and residences throughout southern New England.
