In the near future, a biotech company saves mankind with synthetic replacements for failed organs. But those who default on their new liver or heart are subject to repossession. Shilo (Alexa Vega) navigates this dystopia while searching for a cure for her rare illness. Her odyssey is set to a number of catchy songs in this tongue-in-cheek opera. Paris Hilton, Paul Sorvino, Anthony Head and Sarah Brightman round out the deliciously diverse cast.

A young black musician named Stew (played by singer-songwriter Stew himself) flees his comfortable middle-class roots in Los Angeles for a soul-searching journey to Europe and gets wrapped up in the music scene of 1980s Amsterdam and West Berlin. The one-of-a-kind Broadway musical, which netted Stew a Tony for Best Book, comes to cinematic life courtesy of film icon Spike Lee. The film premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival

Conceived during the 2008 Hollywood writers' strike, Joss Whedon's quirky musical comedy originally debuted as an online miniseries.

Life imitates a play, and that's just the thing for sending up the Bible in this no-feathers-barred fantasia that swirls around Paul (Daniel Robinson) and Eddie (Joey Dudding), the leads in a musical called "Adam and Steve Just the Way God Made 'Em." Offstage, the pair act out the story of their own star-crossed lives: Paul, recently dumped, just wants to stay in, while Eddie's still coming out. But rest assured that the show tunes will go on.
