As a public service, Providence Public Library invites Rhode Island non-profit organizations to post their programs/events of statewide interest on our Calendar of Events. Join us for the Concerts under the Elms, an annual outdoor summer concert series held Thursdays under the canopy of elms at the John Brown House Museum.
June 30 – The American Band – Patriotic music and “pops” repertoire;
July 14 – Duke Robillard Band – Classic blues, R&B and swing;
July 21 – Pendragon – Celtic-inspired music;
July 28 – The Driftwoods – Beach Boys tribute band;
August 4 – Greg Abate Jazz Quartet – Swinging melodic jazz standards & original music in the same style;
August 11 – Atwater-Donnelly Band – Traditional American folk music and dance;
All concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. on the John Brown House Museum lawn, 52 Power Street, Providence. Concert goers can enjoy their own picnic, or purchase food and beverages on site.
