You can now buy tickets for Bright Night, an incredibly diverse artist-run festival in downtown Providence, celebrating its 10th anniversary! Adult tickets cost $15 until December 30th and $20 on the day of the event. Kids’ tickets (for ages 15 and under) are just $10, and you can get a 4th ticket free if you purchase 3! Order them online, in person at East Side Market, or at any Bank RI branch.

We have a great line-up of performances at the library all afternoon on December 31:

12:15 - 1 pm --    Storyteller, Carolyn Martino presents Stories from Here, There and Everywhere!

1 - 1:45 pm --      Traditional Irish/Scottish Music by Jordan Cannady

2 - 2:25 pm --      Poet Brian Tancrell offers City Scribbles and Bottle Dregs

2:30- 3:15 pm --  Magic with Mr. Ronn, Ron Bianco

3:30 - 4:15 pm -- Award winning Bill Harley You’re in Trouble: Songs and Stories with Bill Harley

4:35 - 5 pm --      Poet Brian Tancrell offers City Scribbles and Bottle Dregs
