Join the Providence Preservations Society for a lecture by architectural historian Mack Woodward and get to know our festival route as he speaks on the historic development and architecture of Benefit Street, one of Providence's most-storied thoroughfares!

Mr. Woodward will discuss some of the area's earliest major developments of this street, created "for the Benefit of all", as well as the decline and subsequent preservationist-led revival in the twentieth century.
