When climate change hits home, will we be prepared? How can we avert climate catastrophe? Ask your questions and join the conversation! Facing the Surge is a short documentary film showing the human side of sea level rise. The free screening will be followed by a conversation with the filmmaker, a coastal climate adaptation scientist and a policymaker.

Join in a dialogue about climate change and its impacts, coastal adaptation practices, and about policies to reduce global-warming pollution.

Panelists include: Amanda Babson, Ph.D., Coastal Oceanographer and Coastal Climate Adaptation Scientist; Diogo Castro Freire, Filmmaker and Founder of Adaptation Now; and Rep. Aaron Regunberg, State Representative for Providence, RI House District 4.
