Posting to Providence Public Library's Calendar
Welcome! Providence Public Library invites you to post your non-profit organization’s programs and events of statewide interest on our Calendar of Events. Using our calendar is simple and free; there is no need to create an account. Once you submit a calendar item, it will be reviewed prior to appearing in the calendar. It may be edited for length. We will only accept postings that are appropriate and free of errors or inaccuracies. We will make every effort to review event submissions in a timely manner, but please submit items a minimum of a week in advance. We cannot guarantee immediate posting.
Below are just a few notes to help you through the process and make you aware of some pre-settings. If you have further questions, contact firstname.lastname@example.org. When posting an event, it is suggested that you supply contact information for those who may have questions or need further information. This will also give our calendar moderator a way to contact you if there are questions before we can post your event.
Once you successfully add your event(s), we hope you will mention this calendar among your other promotions and share the link to it with your patrons and friends.
About Our Calendar
- Fields with a Red * must be filled in.
- The Location field will display your location at the top of the posting with other critical information; simply fill in the box at the left as you would like the necessary information to appear. Select "None selected" from the drop down list.
- The Googlemap and Mapquest settings are set to automatically populate and point to Providence Public Library. If you would like to include one or both of these, you must paste in your own specific URL. You may also leave these blank. Simply delete the pre-set information.
