Decorated by French Delegation Nov 1st in 1881
Marshal Ferdinand Foch decorated the monument forty years later
on November 13th in 1921

Were encamped in 1781 on their march from Newport to Yorktown
And in 1782 on their march from Yorktown to Boston
In Boston they embarked for France
