Koelsch's U.S. Naval Base, the Koelsch's stockings are hung by the boat with care and Santa assists the men of the destroyer tender Puget Sound with a little painting during the 1971 annual holiday lighting of Cruiser Destroyer Force and Service Force Ships at Newport. More than 30 ships of all sizes are lighted each evening, Monday through Thursday from 6-11 PM, and Friday-Sunday from sunset until 11 PM. Until Monday evening, January 3rd, the displays may be viewed by entering the Newport Naval Base through gates 10-17.
