DML: Digital Media Learning Playlist Beta Test Group
PPL received a $50,000 grant from Digital Media and Learning to create highly engaging playlists that integrate technology and career skill development.
A group of 20 beta testers worked through the designed playlists to help PPL determine the challenges and successes of each playlist. Activities included working with Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing professionals, and library staff to bring their city to life. Participants learned how to edit video and images, receive and implement feedback, and deliver a marketing pitch with a tourism focus. A participant’s successful completion of the playlists resulted in an expanded professional network, digital badges reflecting their obtained skills and a stipend for their feedback on the playlists.
