Culinary Arts

In 2017, teens in grades 7 through 12 engaged in a two-week hands-on culinary arts training led by professional chefs from the Genesis Center. Participants learned cooking techniques, menu preparation, dining etiquette and experienced a tasting menu from Capital Grille. As part of the kitchen safety portion of the workshop, participants had the opportunity to earn a ServSafeⓇ Food Handler Certificate.
