Own a piece of Providence Public Library (PPL) history! In preparation for its transforming building renovation scheduled to begin in September, PPL will conduct a pre-renovation auction Tuesday, August 28 through Thursday, August 30. More than 300 lots of items, including furnishings, tables, chairs, antique card catalogs and cabinets, auditorium seating, a grand piano, and much more are for sale.

There will be a public inspection at PPL (150 Empire Street, Providence) from 10 am – 2 pm on Tuesday, August 28. Bidding will open then (online only) and continue through August 30. Lots will begin to close August 30 at Noon.
Registration for online bidding will open August 22.
