PPL welcomes school/class/educational group visits. You may arrange a general class or group tour of the Library by emailing programs@provlib.org or calling 401-455-8134.
Historic Library Tours
Take a free guided historic library tour at 10:30 am on the first and third Tuesday of each month, offered March to November. Please come to the Library's 225 Washington Street entrance. To schedule a special group tour outside of these times, please contact Tonia Mason at 401-455-8090 or tmason@provlib.org. You may also access the Library's annotated online tour.
Visit Our Special Collections
We welcome everyone to use our collections, whether for scholarly projects or personal curiosity. Our open hours are:
TUESDAY: 10 am - 1 pm
WEDNESDAY: 3 - 7 pm
Other times by chance or appointment.
