Workshop

Welcome to Providence Public Library’s (PPL) Workshop. Our mission is to be a community space for creativity, collaboration, exploration, and innovation.

The Workshop is a multi-purpose educational space, specifically designed to support collaborative community-based and hands-on experiential learning for youth and adults of all ages. It serves as a hub for both formal and informal learning opportunities, the use of maker tools and technology, and sound recording, mixing, and audio production in our state of the art sound studio.

The Workshop also has a classroom and partner offices open to the community and other nonprofit organizations to hold meetings, interface with the public, and work collaboratively.

The Workshop hosts a range of events, workshops, and classes and new opportunities are being added all the time. Be sure to check here and the Events Calendar for the latest information on what is going on in the Workshop.
