Rhode Coders 2.0

This course provides a foundation of web-development programming and coding for students with no or some previous coding experience.

Students learn HTML, CSS, programming fundamentals, core JavaScript, and Python using a fun and game-oriented approach. Participants in grades 9-12 have the opportunity to earn .5 high school credit through the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) Advanced Coursework Network initiative. Participants will also receive a stipend of $350 for their completion of the program.

A teen summer employment program and an engine for social good, pairing local Teen Associates with data science skills with nonprofit organizations.

Data Navigator 2.0

A course for youth interested in exploring how to transform data into actionable information.


Students entering grades 6-8 in the fall are invited to read and join in a fun discussion once a month.
